A Message From Our Recruitment Chairwoman:
To each potential new member,
My name is Bailey Britton, and I have the honor of serving as Phi Mu’s Recruitment Chair at Troy University. I am beyond excited that you have come across our page to learn more about our recruitment and how Phi Mu can welcome you into this special season of your life. My assistants and I are working diligently to ensure that each of you has a meaningful experience as you walk into the doors of our house. I want each of you to feel loved and cherished throughout this entire process and know that Phi Mu is so excited to meet YOU!
Before coming to college, I was filled with so many new emotions. I remember feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as I prepared to come to Troy. If you would have told me my freshmen year of college that I would be serving as the Recruitment Chair for Phi Mu, I wouldn’t have believed you. I knew from the second that I joined this special sisterhood I wanted to find a way to give back to something that has given so much to me. Being recruitment chair has already allowed me to give back to this chapter in so many ways and my wish for this upcoming year is to show each of you how much I cherish this sisterhood and the friendships it has given me. The girls in this chapter have given me the confidence, love, and encouragement to step into this role and truly grow into the best version of myself.
At Phi Mu, we strive to create genuine connections, personal growth, and unconditional support. Our sisterhood is built on love, honor, and truth, and we strive to uplift one another in every aspect of their life. My best advice to each and every one of you is to find somewhere that you can be seen, valued, and loved for who you are. Recruitment can be overwhelming, but I hope that Phi Mu brings you a sense of comfort that can guide you throughout this exciting time in your life. This sisterhood is truly something special and I pray that each of you feel the sense of warmth and excitment that I felt coming into Phi Mu.
This sisterhood has given me friendships that will last a lifetime, a place where I am truly valued and supported, and a home filled with endless love and support. Recruitment is just the beginning of an incredible journey and my prayer for each of you is to experience the love that Phi Mu showed me when I was in your shoes two years ago.
